Unfortunately this is not an update. I was really hoping on continuing this along with Lost in Love, but I just don't have the motivation or inspiration to do this legacy anymore. It's become really boring for me and if it's boring me then it will most likely bore readers. I may come back to this later (alot later) but I'm not making any guarantees.
I will still be doing Lost in Love since I do have inspiration for it. And berrified Chip and Zeeke may show up along with their daughter Angelita (no she wasn't going to be in the legacy she's just the work of SP)
I'd like to thank you guys for the comments and support and I'm sorry for the let down but I just had no capability of writing this legacy.

temptation pt.1

This chapter will be a bit boring but it's only part 1! ;3



"YOU DID WHAT?!?!!"
that was the response I received after telling the girls where I had gone to last night. And our half of the cafe promptly moved or left all together, giving us funny looks along the way.
"Oh, Chip. That really isn't good." Blush sighed at looked at me half concerned and half disappointed and possibly some anger too.

"Oh calm down, Blusheroo. It's not like she killed a man. She is the only one of us not in a relationship." Loli said with hidden giddiness.

"Thanks for the reminder Loli." She giggled at me and I recalled she never really said much about her boyfriend. Oh well.

"Was he good?!" Em had been holding that in for the past few minutes and the powder keg finally burst. She wiggled her brow at me as she awaited an answer and Loli giggled beside her.

I blushed and looked around awkwardly. "Ya, not gonna get into that." Em and Loli started laughing, "That's a yes!!" Loli howled.

"Guys think about this seriously." Blush began and their laughter halted instantly. "This guy could be really bad for her, we don't know what all he's up to. He could be working for the mob or he could be in a gang or he could be the next Hitler!" Dramatic much, Blush? What does stealing have to do with Hitler?
Never the less  her words got my imagination pumping.

Em snirked. "I don't think that's likely , sugar."

Blush sighed. "I know, but the point is none of us really know him." Loli looked to me then. "Did you get his number, Chippy?"

I looked at her confused by her out of the blue question. "Yes..?"

"Well call him, hang out with him, get to know him a bit more-emotionally not physically- and judge from that." She shrugged when we all looked at her surprised by what we just heard from our kooky friend.

"I s'pose..." My heart flip-flopped at the thought of seeing him again and I became nervous as I stood and dialed the number he gave me.

It ringed. And ringed. And ringed.
On the 12th ring (no I wasn't counting, pft) he picked up.
"Hello?"

willing something to happen doesn't always triumph. almost a month now and I haven't seen "Hotty McLoosehands" as Loli and Em call him.

in all honesty, I realized that it was completely rediculous to be so obssessed with a thief that you only saw once, but, what can I say? I never claimed to play with a full deck.

"you're crazy, twerp, you know that?" yeah very supportive, Grant. word to the wise, never ask Grant to evaluate your sanity, not that i did in the first place.

"that's already been diagnosed, lovey." also don't rely on Blush's opinion of your sanity either.

"I'm starting to think that this was of a mission to have fun than to raise my spirits," I pondered aloud. "tomato, patato," Loli giggled as she swayed around, not sure if she was dancing or drunkly standing.

"I'm pretty sure that's not how the saying goes, Loli." Livi looked at our albino, clearly questioning her blood-alcohol level.

"C'mon, Livi, she's already drunk! how good do you want her metaphors to be?" Blush laughed as she steadied Loli who was dancing drunk in 3-inch heels. Em came running up to us then, excitement lighting her face.

"Hotty McLoosehands is here!!" she screamed. My face went blank in shock and honestly I started day dreaming. That is until Blush's worried voice pulled me back to reality. "Chip are you ok?"

"Y-yeah, all good. Em where?" I asked sheepishly. "Hold up, Chip. Is this really a good idea?" Blush still sounded worried.

"YES!!" Em and Loli squeeled to her before Em shoved me in his direction.

he was there alright and the minute he saw me he gave me a once over with a critical look on his face. "well if it isn't the Bonnie to my Clyde! come sit with me, red!" he patted the empty seat next to him and I sat, cheeks flushed.
why did he have to call me that? it just makes me feel even more guilty.

"so what's your name red?" he asked with that same cocky grin he had given me a month ago.
"tell me your's first," I demanded, surprising myself. he wasn't surprised, though.
he laughed quickly before responding with a simple, "Zeeke."
I raised a brow at him. "That's it? what are you Beyonce'?"
he laughed again. "I believe you owe me your name now, red."
since it seemed like I wouldn't be getting his last name I sighed and told him, "Chipmunk."
he tried to hide a snicker but it didn't work. "Really now? Well, I'm going to call you Monkey." I rolled my eyes at him, Grant called me every animal besides Chipmunk so I didn't really care what exactly Zeeke called me, as long as he called me something other than "Bonnie" or "hey you."

we talked for a bit before I mentioned anything, but I knew I had to. "look, I need to get something off my chest." "I need to get something off your chest,too." he interrupted with another cocky grin.

"Haha. No. you stay over there and I'll stay over here." because if you got any closer I would relent completely.

"what I wanted to say was, I'm not some criminal like you, and I don't want to be so never put me in that situation again, got it?"

"Ya, sure thing, Monkey." something about his tone didn't allow me to believe him but I let it go for now.

"You want a drink, Monkey?" he gestured to the drinks on the table. I pondered that, "Um.."

"C'mon, it's just a drink not a wedding ring," he grabbed a glass and filled it before offering it up to me. Couldn't hurt right?

I accepted the drink... and a few more. soon we were laughing and giggling like old friends, then he whispered something in my ear.

now i know i said it would be a while and it would have been since i've gotten nowhere with fixing the problem, so instead of putting it off indefinately i just used my extremely slow old comp to get the remainding pics. which i may have to do for a while -_-

anyway...

The next update is about half done but may take a while to get finished since I'm switching computers (just got a brand-spanking-new one that has awesome graphics) but the CC doesn't show up. So until I get things setteled, (which shouldn't be too long hopefully since I shot something off at the costumer support after two days of searching for an answer on my own >.> ) the update won't be worked on, after all I can't do it if Chip has reaper skin XD

Yes, Blushee's elbow is a spectacular decoration o_o they also have a pet minnow named Kitty, cuz getting a catfish named Kitty would use too much of my brain power

wanna know why Kitty? No. Well I'll tell ya anyway!

in their own beautiful world they have a puffer name Barry. Barry = Berry. Berry+ Kitty = awesome.

now i will go back to more productive matters, like working on the next update which is only .5/4 the way there XD

the way you leave me mindless

the town wasn't large by any means, or even a town for that matter, it's more like an island. if you ask me Barnacle Bay isn't exactly the name you should advertize, it's like saying Welcome to Chicken Pox City! unappealing name or not I moved there. I needed quiet cozy suburbs to get my mind off what has happened in the past two years, a place to start over. and having a whole branch of your family tree wiped out in a single accident leaves one wanting to start off on a fresh sheet of paper. After almost two years of therapy I was given the A-Ok to stop and move on.
Let me tell ya, moving on is tiring work, especially when the plane had to make two stop overs on the way to Barnacle Bay!
After just a week I met Blush, a neighbor of mine, and her husband Grant. i quickly made friends with Blush and gradually made friends with Grant. Not that he was hard to like just that Blush was more charismatic and wide open with her relationships. well, maybe that's not it. Blush just had a way to her that let you open up to her easily.

Blush and i spent a lot of time goofing around at the park, and when we weren't there we were at their house being lectured about our inefficient methods of zombie killing by Grant. It just isn't good enough if you blow half its torso off.

one day after a few monthes of living there I was left to entertain myself since after three different calls Blush and Grant didn't answer their phone(I refuse to imagine what they are doing) I went to the park by myself to people watch, or in my version, laugh at the old people in short-shorts.
I helped one old lady, who introduced herself as Mable, feed the seagulls. She thanked me and while she was gushing over how much of a sweet young lady I was I noticed something peculiar.

did that man just slip her wallet when he walked past? I subtly peeked behind the Mable and saw him stuff a floral print wallet in his back pocket.
now either he's light in the loafers or he just stole her wallet.

He got to the other side of the park and turned, He caught my eye and a devilish grin spread across his face followed by a wink.
he definately stole it.
but..
did he just wink at me?
like it was our little secret?
I looked at Mable, not knowing what to do. I couldn't betray that handsome face.

but could I let that sweet old woman unknowingly get robbed?
seeing that i wouldn't spill the beans he turned again and left, success radiating in his stride.
Ol' Mable bid me farewell and left me standing looking like a deer in the headlights

Well what the hell was I suppossed to make out of that?
needless to stay I stood there with a stupid look on my face for some time.

after several guilt trips and pouty faces I decided to talk to Blush. of course I came up with the genius idea of consulting the other ladies at Blush's "Ladies Night in" party too.
Blush told me her and the girls had a party once a month, this month was Blush's turn hosting and since Grant didn't want to be overpowered by the estrogen he went out to visit Blush's dad.
I arrived last and Blush wasted no time introducing me to everyone.

"that's Emerald, the one with green hair eating all of my eggos, Em say hi." Blush prodded her. "mfi!" um.. I'll assume that meant hi.

"This is Olivine, Em's sister" she waved over to her. we exchanged awkward greetings before moving on to the last guest.

"and the one having a spaz fit over the show is Loli, she's the most awesome albino you'll ever meet." We did finally manage to get Loli's attention and say hi.
After some chit chat and empty eggo boxes I pushed forth my courage and brought up what happened at the park.

"Seriously?! right in the open? that's arrogant." Enerald cut in then. "Was he hot?"

"EM!" Blush and the others exclaimed. "what? she could use this to her advantage?" Emerald saw no wrong in that, and part of me didn't either.
"haa so are you suggesting blackmail, Em?" Loli laughed at her idea. in the very back of my head it was an option.

"whadda you think, Chip? do you want some blackmail love?" Loli looked back to me in the corner.
"um.." I hesitated abit too long.

"are you actually into him, Chip?" Blush looked at me with her concerned puppy face. "maybe?" I wasn't fond of the spotlight being put on my emotions. Blush shrugged. "You can always see if you bump into him again and go from there."

we both knew that in a town this size i would run into him again, and that brought a smile to my face.
